Hassan and Hossein Rowshanbakht, born in Kashan in 1991, are artists, curators, and cultural practitioners working across photography, architecture, and contemporary art. Since 2019 they have founded and directed a network of independent cultural spaces in Kashan, including Hasht Cheshmeh Art Space, Golkhaneh — Alternative Cultural Space, Honarkhaneh Kashan / House of Lucie, Kashan Gallery / House of Steve, and Sooleh Art Space. Through the restoration, adaptive reuse, and management of these spaces, they have helped develop contemporary art infrastructures beyond Tehran — creating platforms for exhibitions, artistic research, and residencies while exploring the dialogue between art and the historic fabric of the city.
