Golkhaneh was established in 2024 by Hassan and Hossein Rowshanbakht with Hossein Farmani as an alternative cultural and environmental space within Kashan's historic fabric. Developed on a formerly abandoned site in the Darvazeh Esfahan neighborhood, it combines an active greenhouse with a platform for experimental art: a citrus garden at the rear reinterprets the Persian garden, while a modern greenhouse at the front tests new forms of use in a historic setting. Alongside cultivating plant species suited to Kashan's climate, it hosts projects with experimental and ecological approaches that engage directly with nature, materiality, and the site itself. Fully realized by the Rowshanbakht brothers, it operates where architecture, nature, and contemporary art intersect.
