Founded in 1991, EIKON is a quarterly magazine published by the Austrian Institute for Photography and Media Art. It focuses on Austrian and international media arts with a special emphasis on fine art photography and its significance in New Media.
A major feature of the magazine is its close collaboration with the presented artists, which is also reflected in the limited art editions published by EIKON (Edition EIKON).
