Mehdi Ansari is a lecturer in philosophy of art and the founder of Shamseh Academy. He studied Philosophy of Art and has taught art theory and criticism at Sooreh University, Pars University, and Azad University in Tehran. He is the author of Art through the Lens of Theory: Lectures on Art Theory and Criticism (2019) and an Encyclopedia of Art Terms (2023). In 2008, he founded Shamseh Academy, an educational institution focused on advanced research, education and scholarly pursuits. Under his leadership, the academy has pioneered the establishment of departments in philosophy, sociology, semiotics, mythology, visual and performing arts, offering comprehensive training courses, and organizing seminars and conferences on a national scale.
