About the book:
The 80s were not that long ago, but optically a lot has changed. Martin Langer’s black-and-white photographs illustrate everyday life from the early 1980s in the Ostwestfalen-Lippe region, focusing on the towns of Bielefeld, Detmold, Herford, Gütersloh and Paderborn, as well as the forests and meadows in between. In his street photography practice, Langer documents the ordinary occurrences, alongside the unexpected moments, of everyday life.
