KOLGA TBILISI PHOTO is the largest and most prestigious photo contest held in Georgia. The main aim of the AWARD is to link international photography to the local photography of Georgia. Under the framework of KOLGA TBILISI PHOTO, workshops, seminars, discussions and portfolio reviews are organised online to underline its philosophy and support the further promotion of art of photography as one of the new media forms to the public in Georgia. In 2017 the exhibition Iran: An Open Portfolio was held, curated by Ali Akbar Shirjian.
