Kasra Karimi is a medical doctor. Coming from northern Iran, he studied medicine in Berlin and data science in Ghent. During his medical studies, he worked at mohit.art as a student assistant, which equipped him with a transnational perspective on culture and cultural exchange and motivated him to do his medical internships in the Global South and pursue a career in the field of global health. He has been working in infectious disease research in Heidelberg since 2024 and remains active at mohit.art in an advisory capacity.
