In 2018, INJA Gallery was founded by Saber Abar and directed by Shahed Saffari as a space for art of any medium to be observed, regardless of the artist’s background.
INJA hosts both group and solo exhibitions; group exhibitions include works on a specific theme by artists of different generations, while solo exhibitions allow artists to showcase their work for the first time. The gallery’s focus is on Iranian art that is inspired by old styles of Persian painting and still life. Most of its solo exhibitions revolve around these two subjects.
