In April 2005, Homa Art Gallery was established by Parviz Maleki and managed by Hengameh Moammeri. Their mission was to review Iran’s contemporary and modern visual arts scene and promote emerging artists in Iran and abroad.
The Homa Gallery cooperates with art museums, foundations, and art galleries to promote and develop young Iranian artists by holding annual exhibitions, such as the “Nasle no” (‘new generation’) exhibition.
The gallery’s newest addition is Homa Books, an editorial about modern art history.
