Established in 1973, the City Theatre Complex is celebrated as one of Iran’s architectural masterpieces and a paramount venue within the country’s theater landscape. The complex houses diverse performance spaces, notably Chaharsou Hall, Qashqai Hall, Sayeh Hall, and the Main Hall. Complementing these spaces is a specialized library and the Center for Performing Arts Documentation. Following a 2007 renovation, the space formerly known as “Hall No. 2” was transformed into a conference hall. This hall has become a central point for various activities, including discussions, media conferences, and script readings, engaging both domestic and international theater groups and artists participating in the country’s vibrant theatrical events.
