Bahar Ahmadifard is an interdisciplinary artist, researcher, author, translator, and interpreter based in Tehran. She holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in photography from Tehran University of Art. Her projects include the workshop Future: as a Point of Departure – The Literary Self-Portrait as an Alternative Novelistic Approach (2019), Dust to Come for Mosaic Rooms, London (2020), HerMap Art Projects with Bozar, Brussels, and Goethe Institut (2021), and her ongoing curatorial project Learning Photography at Tehran University of Art: A Simulator. She has been a board member and regular contributor to the online publication Poetica Project since 2015, and a board member and coordinator of the Parking Video Library (PVL) since 2018.
