Baghdadi Museum

The Baghdadi Museum was founded in 1970 and documents the traditional life in Baghdad with a focus on folk heritage and crafts. The museum was damaged in 2003 and officially reopened in August 2008. It is located between Al Shohada bridge and Al Risafi Square. Featuring 45 scenes that display traditional professions and popular customs of Baghdad, represented in colorful life-size sculptures.
