ZK/U – Center for Art and Urbanistics is an artist residency and project space in Berlin’s Moabit district, established in 2012 by the collective KUNSTrePUBLIK. Located in a former freight station, it hosts up to 13 international artists and researchers at a time, focusing on themes of urbanism, social innovation, and public space. ZK/U organizes events like OPENHAUS, GÜTERMARKT, and SPEISEKINO, fostering dialogue between global discourses and local practices. Over the years, it has collaborated with over 800 residents and 150 institutions worldwide. ZK/U is operated by the nonprofit KUNSTrePUBLIK e.V.
