Türkiye İş Bankası Museum occupies a restored 1892 building in Istanbul’s Eminönü district, formerly the main post office and later the bank’s Yenicami Branch. Established in 2007, it documents the bank’s foundation by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk in 1924, following the İzmir Economic Congress, as Turkey’s first Republican financial institution. Exhibits across two floors present chronological displays of documents, photographs, Ottoman coinage, vintage vaults and interactive elements tracing banking evolution to the present. Admission is free.
