TREIBSAND is a non-profit association founded in 2019. The association develops exhibitions in close cooperation with contemporary artists from West and Central Asia. What the artistic works have in common is that they develop an idea of another world, without however sweeping the current crises under the carpet. Qualitatively on a par with global art, more than half of the works are by female artists.
TREIBSAND also operates a website featuring selected video works, studio films, video essays, interviews and texts that offer a deeper insight into the work of the participating artists.
