The Stiftung Künstlerdorf Schöppingen, founded in 1989 in Münsterland, Germany, offers international residencies for artists and writers. Each year, around 40 fellows receive 2–6 month stipends in literature, visual arts, new media, or experimental composition. The program fosters interdisciplinary exchange in a non-competitive, collaborative environment. Residencies take place in two historic 19th-century farmhouses, providing studios, apartments, and shared spaces. The foundation also hosts CAP (Curating for Advanced Practices), a platform for exploring innovative artistic strategies.
