Saeid Khaghani finished his Ph.D. at the University of Manchester in 2009 in Art History, specializing in historiography of Iranian art and architecture. His research interests are Iranian architectural history and sociology of architecture. In recent years, his research focus has been on Qajar architecture. He is currently lecturing in architectural theory an history at University of Tehran. Beside numerous papers and articles, he published Islamic Architecture of Iran. Post-Structural Theory and the Architectural History of Iranian Mosques with I.B.Tauris, London, in 2012 and Subjectivity and Space, Reflections on Iranian Everyday with Sean Kingston Publishing, London, in 2014.
