Pocket Collective, founded by Nastaran Fotouhi and Hengame Hosseini, is an independent artistic and research-driven initiative. Their ongoing project Pocket is a mobile image archive from Iran that invites people to witness and contribute to shared experiences. Through open calls, it gathers fragments of daily life, revealing common interests, connections, and perspectives that challenge dominant narratives and open space for alternative stories. At its core, Pocket Collective rethinks archives—moving beyond institutions to create living repositories of history tied to the people and places they document.
