Negar Farajiani (born 1977 in Yazd) is an artist, curator and educator. Her practice spans traditional artistic media as well as large-scale collaborative projects, socially engaged initiatives and educational research. Through her art, Farajiani plays with the concept of space, both private and public. Farajiani’s work has increasingly focused on collaborations with other artists and participatory actions. Her work has been the subject of numerous international exhibitions, presentations and academic projects.
