Neda Ghiasi

Neda Ghiasi is an independent researcher in cultural studies and philosophy of art. She holds a Ph.D. in Art Research from the University of Art, Tehran. Her research interests focus on Shahnameh (Book of Kings) studies, hermeneutics, aesthetics, narratology and philosophy of imagination. In recent years, her research has focused on hermeneutics and its application to Persian art and literature, particularly the Shahnameh. She has translated Paul Ricoeur: a Guide for the Perplexed by David Pellauer into Persian and has written The Great Work of Narrative in Shahnameh (forthcoming from Mahmoud Afshar Foundation Press, Iran).
