Mohsen Rafei is an installation and site-specific artist based in Tehran, Iran. He received his BFA in Sculpture and his MFA in Philosophy of Art from Tehran University of Art. Since 2014, he has been creating interactive and site-specific sculptures that consider the space, the situation, and the presence of the audience while making social and political references to the history of the site. Rafei has presented his art in six solo exhibitions, including venues such as Mohsen Gallery and Bostan Gallery in Tehran. His work has also been included in events such as the 7th and 8th Tehran Sculpture Biennials.
