Mark Hachem Gallery, founded in Paris in 1996, is a platform for modern and contemporary art, showcasing artists from around the world. In 2007, Hachem expanded to New York, and in 2010, opened a gallery in Beirut, focusing on Arab Modernism. The Beirut gallery represents artists like Helen Khal, Leila Nseir, Hussein Madi, the estates of Hamed Abdalla and Alfred Basbous. Hachem also supports contemporary artists such as Chaouki Chamoun, Fatima El Hajj, and Mahmoud Hamadani. The gallery’s vision is to present curated exhibitions that challenge Western-centric perspectives, linking the Paris and Beirut spaces.
