LABA Berlin is a hub of LABA - A Laboratory for Jewish Culture. Together with the Deutsche Islam Akademie and the Künstlerhaus Bethanien, LABA Berlin has set up the Mar'a'yeh (مرايه) fellowship programme. This programme invites Berlin-based artists who identify as Jewish and/or Muslim to participate in a year of exchange, conversation and co-creation. Fellows will receive an honorarium of €1,500 for their commitment, as well as €1,150 to cover material expenses. For six months, the artists will share a 75 m² studio space to develop collaborative projects. They will present their work at open studio events at the Künstlerhaus Bethanien, as well as in a final public exhibition and performance series.
