Founded in 1987, Kunstverein Arnsberg is a non-profit institution dedicated to contemporary art. Its local and international programs includes exhibitions, readings, screenings and performances. It has, amongst others, presented solo exhibitions by Santiago Sierra, Alfredo Jaar, Julieta Aranda, Erwin Wurm and Susan Philipsz.
With art, nature, and politics at its core, Kunstverein Arnsberg focuses on artistic responses to aspects of our contemporary life including sustainability, ecology, sociology, religion, daily routines, architecture, urban planning, science, technology, the digital and the future.
