Founded in 2010, the Iraqi Independent Film Centre is a film organization that aims to raise the level of Iraqi cinematic culture, effectively establishing a post-crisis cinema.
The center aims to consolidate modern concepts in the contemporary film industry process, including production methods, financing and cultural and cinematic support. In addition, it attempts to rehabilitate the form of the film publication for its impact on the dissemination of cinematic culture.
The Iraqi Independent Film Centre is a path for all Iraqi filmmakers and critics, to activate their role in drawing new and contemporary features of modern Iraqi film.
