Galerie Janine Rubeiz, established in 1992 by Nadine Majdalani Begdache, evolved from the cultural center Dar El Fan founded by Janine Rubeiz in 1967. Dedicated to promoting Lebanese modern and contemporary art, the gallery has played a pivotal role in fostering both established and emerging talents. Representing influential artists like Shafic Abboud, Etel Adnan, and Zad Moultaka, the gallery gained global recognition, including Moultaka’s Lebanese Pavilion at the 2017 Venice Biennale. Active in cultural preservation, it hosted “Bitasarof” in 2016 to support Lebanon’s National Library and organizes exhibitions emphasizing Lebanon’s artistic and revolutionary spirit.
