Frishteh Sadati has been living in Germany for the past seven years. Originally from Afghanistan, she began her career in cinema and theatre in her home country. Due to numerous experiences of flight and refuge, she has gained extensive practical experience in this field, but could not pursue academic studies. With a strong interest in cinema and theater, she has frequently performed on stage in Germany and directed two short films. Since 2017, she has been leading the AWA Theater Ensemble and in 2018, she founded Simorgh_s.b.g e.V., an organization for women in Afghanistan and Germany.
