The Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona (CCCB), established in 1994, is a multidisciplinary cultural center located in Barcelona. It focuses on urban culture and contemporary issues, hosting exhibitions, debates, festivals, concerts, film cycles, courses, and lectures. The CCCB encourages creation using new technologies and languages, exploring the fusion of different genres. Its facilities include exhibition halls, an auditorium, a bookstore, and multiuse seminar and lecture rooms. The center also houses the Xcèntric Archive, a collection of over 1,000 experimental films. The CCCB is a public consortium created by the Diputació de Barcelona and Barcelona City Council, with Judit Carrera serving as its director since 2018.
