Bayt AlMamzar is an independent art space in Dubai’s Al Mamzar neighborhood, founded by brothers Khalid and Gaith Abdulla in 2021. Originally their family home built in 1983, the house was transformed into a creative hub after their grandmother moved out in 2018. Bayt AlMamzar offers artist studios, residencies, a gallery, co-working spaces, and a library, focusing on nurturing early-career artists and curators. The space emphasizes non-commercial, experimental art practices and community engagement, hosting exhibitions, workshops, and events. It stands out for reviving the cultural legacy of Al Mamzar while providing much-needed support for Dubai’s local art scene.
