Founded by Aria Eghbal in 1992 in Tehran, Aria Art Gallery has hosted numerous exhibitions, events, and workshops featuring Iranian contemporary artists. As part of the project “An Overview of Iranian Modern Art,” the gallery has showcased progressive and influential artists in the Iranian modern art scene, including Sirak Melkonian, Bahman Mohasses, Behjat Sadr, and Garnik Der Hakupian, through exhibitions, publications, and interviews. In 2002, Aria Art Classes were established to offer a diverse range of artistic education, including art history and contemporary art courses, workshops, and lectures.
