Ali Rahimi (b. 1995, Daikundi, Afghanistan) is a painter whose work is deeply rooted in the personal experiences of migration, war, and the struggles of migrant life. He migrated to Iran with his family in 2002 and began formal painting training at the age of fifteen. Rahimi has exhibited internationally, participating in over fifteen group exhibitions across Iran, Armenia, Brazil and Australia, and has held four solo exhibitions in Tehran. His awards include the Damoonfar Painting Award (Tehran, 2024) and the Culture of Resistance Award (2023).
