Founded in 1909 the Staatliche Kunsthalle Baden-Baden is committed to the examination of international contemporary art and has established itself as an important source of inspiration for the presentation of internationally significant contemporary art in the city and beyond.
Its exhibitions make the changes and differences of a globally networked world visible and tangible, with previous exhibitions including the much-acclaimed solo exhibitions of Swedish artist Nina Canell and Ukrainian artist Boris Mikhailov.
Under the direction of Johan Holten and in response to the increasing importance of “virtual exhibiting”, this rich exhibition history will be digitally accessible to everyone, everywhere.
