Founded in 2003 by Dr. Norbert Moos, the Forum für Fotografie is a private initiative in the Cultural Center for Art and Photography in Cologne. It is an independent platform for photography, video art, and new media, and hosts a rich program of exhibitions and workshops, alongside the publication of photobooks.
The Forum für Fotografie showcases around four exhibitions per year, with a focus on artistic-conceptual photography, and a goal to promote emerging artists internationally. It regularly participates in activities alongside the German Photobook Prize and the Internationale Photoszene Köln.
