Until Sunday, July 2: The three-day festival offers an interdisciplinary programme that addresses elements of traditional and contemporary Afghan culture as well as current discourses of the diaspora. A further focus is on making Afghanistan's diverse female and diverse art and cultural production visible. While a public artwork invites participation, theatre performances, films, concerts, readings, workshops and events for children round off the programme. On view until July 2, 2023: In this series, Shahriar Rezaiee, contemplates on dreams and memories: “What we put in our suitcase, is it a reflection of our lives and experiences or a reminder of our burden? Maybe we need to think more about what we carry in our luggage because this determines the journey of our life.”
On view through July 14: The purpose of Ashkan Daneshmand's series “Treshhold” is to show nature along with all the influences we humans have had on it. Influences that present a different picture of the present age, even if we turn the camera in a direction free of these effects. The photogrpahs were taken between 2016 and 2020 and within a range of 200 km away from Tehran.
On view through July 14: the show with works by Shiva Abazariyan and Hanie Rahimian is described as follows: “Unreachable is infinite. They have no ending. Say it! Say it! Say it to remember. Follow it to reach it. That thing which no one can take from you. You just need to choose it because it is infinite and it has no ending. Say it! Say it to always remember…”

On view until July 18: Hiva Alizadeh presents a series of textile works made of hair-like stuctures and objects and bright colors. The artists dedicates the works to his mother’s spirit and her land, Jiroft.
On view until July 21: “Stop Counting The Waves Following Me, You Seabirds!” presens works by Shabahang Tayyari at The Third Line Gallery in Dubai. The exhibition is a container of different scenarios that are in tension with the capacity of the exhibition itself, matters of uniformity, replication, flatness, originality, fiction, and exclusivity. Shabahang Tayyari explores these themes within the frame of each painting, between the different frames, and throughout the overall installation and spatial arrangement of the works.

On view until July 29: Dorsa Asadi combines local references such as aesthetics of colorful Iranian paintings and tiles, with contemporary subject matter such as gender, identity, environmental issues and narratives that have shaped paradigms throughout history.
